MLM, Direct Sales, Network Marketing & Sales Rep
Policy
Most business networking organizations or social networking sites
offer membership and access to just about anyone.
BusinessIIBusiness does not. This is what sets us apart in the
Social Networking industry.
BusinessIIBusiness participation is limited to "Decision Makers"
only. We bar participation or membership to anyone actively
promoting or representing a Business Opportunity ("biz opp"), an
MLM (multi-level marketing company, also known as network
marketing), Direct Sales (Home demonstrations or Home sales
parties), or Account Sales Representatives/Affiliate Marketers
(employees) of products or services.
We define any of the above as a business that represents, sells or
recruits with the strategic goal of growing members, resellers or
distributors for products or services that are not fully controlled
by the "Decision Maker" and cannot make such decisions as:
- Changes in product/service lines
- New services/product additions
- Complete control of officers in the company
- Any and/or all branding/visual design decisions
- All marketing & advertising decisions
- All hiring of employees
- Total control of the parent company's financials
- Sale/transfers of the company and its assets
Here's why: BusinessIIBusiness is a networking organization for
CEO's, Presidents, Entrepreneurs and Business Owners who own
their own Business entities, and our mission is to set ourselves
apart and we keep it that way. Everyone who joins any of our
BusinessIIBusiness Networking areas does so as the sole
representative of their own specific name/product/service/business,
in their own particular field, and can participate in local
networking to expand the sale of their own products or services and
joins BusinessIIBusiness with the expectation that we have done our
due diligence in making sure we live up to our mission and
promises.
The success of any multi-level marketing (MLM) is founded upon
developing an ever expanding network of people who join in the MLM
business itself, as opposed to growing a solid business structure
and promoting product or service expansions. We are not in favor of
having other members suggest to other members that they change
businesses or add a new business opportunity to their business
dealings outside of legal Joint Ventures, mergers, Strategic
Alliances etc. We do however, encourage others to purchase products
and services from each other, give referrals and participate in
legal joint ventures and legal partnerships, mergers and strategic
alliances that form a stronger corporation.
As members, we refer our friends, families and clients to specific
products and services from other fellow members based on solid,
long lasting business relationships. However, we are not
comfortable with the possibility that our "Elite Members"
would ever be put in a position of being pitched on a business
opportunity such as the type provided by MLMs. We want to create an
environment for decision makers to feel comfortable that they will
not be pitched with business opportunities, pyramid schemes,
multi-level marketing, products/services or sales rep opportunities
that can be distracting from their goals as an owner and decision
maker of a company.
Though it is possible for a representative from an MLM to only
promote their products inside a network and not recruit new
members/resellers to their industry, we are not interested in
trying to enforce such a policy, and therefore have made the
decision to exclude MLMs, Network Marketers, Direct Sales and Sales
Representatives from membership or participation in
BusinessIIBusiness.
We understand that networking is an important part of the business
process in network marketing and MLM, and for this reason we
encourage you to use other Social Networks who allow MLM to promote
your Sales business and not BusinessIIBusiness.
